These are The Lovers. This is a sculpt I wanted as a collector for ages, but couldn't find one I could afford. This one is damaged, and was unpainted, so seriously marked down.

The flowers are temporary tattoos, the rest is done by me.

My Dad had a Rule about lighting fires (campfires, whatever)— a good fire only needs one match to light it, and wood kindling only, no paper or etc.

So. I have gotten myself a reminder to take the time to do things right.

Today I made turon (banana mostly, a couple mango) & cascaron (some with coconut milk, some with pineapple juice, pineapple caramel glaze) and I am very pleased with how they came out. And will probably make more tomorrow, since i still have ingredients.
