Not on this platform but yes to others - Facebook is particularly bad and I don't use it anymore. This social media network is the most civil and intelligent that I have encountered.

I slept 12 hrs and am still exhausted. Eye infection, cold sore... immune system kaput, as usual.

You're old enough to run for president now. I'd vote for you in a heartbeat.

Immune history shapes human antibody responses to H5N1 influenza viruses
Avian H5N1 influenza viruses are circulating widely in cattle and other mammals and pose a risk for a human pandemic. Previous studies suggest that older humans are more resistant to H5N1 infections d...

They explained that it was already expected that older populations might have stronger immunity. Several studies have shown that. Their word choice is odd here but they clarified further: "which correlates well with H5 cross-reactive antibodies in older individuals."

You missed that the study clearly even states in that same paragraph before your quote: "H5N1 influenza A viruses (IAV) have not circulated widely in the human population, and it is unlikely that significant immunity exists against these strains."

This study was on cross-neutralizing antibodies, meaning that a conservation of immunodominant T cell epitopes between H5N1 and seasonal influenza viruses, including H1N1, was recently reported and suggested to potentially provide a level of cross-protective immunity.

Wow, unbelievable. Do better, Hercules Police Department. I hope the victim sees justice in the courtroom. Those police officers should lose their badges.
