I am often amazed at what is unknown by the public. Someone at work decided I needed a lecture on the Jesuits. He started with "founded by Teilhard de Chardin". A few centuries out methinks and I queried him about Ignatius Loyolla and that was the end of his lecture about which I was very pleased.

This was the best TV I can remember. My home town. Foxes, pigeons, parakeets, bees. I always assume hovering birds are kestrels not PFs. I once saw a great crested grebe in my local park. No wandering deer or hedgehogs but I live on 5th floor.

It took two months & my MP for them to replace the roofing on my bedroom dormer window dormer (which had been blown off in a sudden freak wind) during which the rain was pouring through the ceiling. Unfortunately, it was a very rainy two months. So I am not holding out any hopes for the entry door.

I get a great view of the Thames fireworks. No lift in my flats (only up to 5th floor) but the front entry door appears to have set fire to itself and giving electric shocks. Fire brigade turned up but no sign of freeholder repair team so front door open to the world.

As you said it was a long time ago. Rina was in Season 5 which is probably why I don't remember her as I have never rewatched that batch for obvious reasons.

AS said he and Mandy agreed he wasn't writing her well. Ainsley went off to CSI (mistake). Sam off for House seat. I assumed Bruno team not needed after election won. I really don't remember Rina but now I have to go and watch to find out but if in Season 5, I will regret it

Not as a far as I know. UK perfectly catchy enough without the extra buts but does not include the Crown Dependencies (Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey) and UK Overseas Territories, making "Team UK" potentially inaccurate for these non-UK entities.

I remember when we appeared in Olympics as Royaume Uni but more recently as team GB to make the inclusion of IOM, Channel Isles etc more meaningful. I have absolutely no problem with the term United Kingdom as it expresses exactly what it is. I just wish those across the pond understood it.

Yeah. I am used to celebs I've never heard of or who know very little about anything. Yesterday's batch did well on specialist subjects but fell short on GK and I had heard of you if none of the others. I watch MM bec it precedes Only Connect to which I am addicted
