there are several rules that appear in the europe/australia ruleset, but not the american one. most of these have a much clearer purpose--improving the pronunciation of a few notable phrases

the purpose of most rules, it seems, is to make sure miis don't try to pronounce things like emoticons, as you can (maybe) see here
(the main reason it looks so complicated is because these rules are describing "regular expressions"--a topic that's far out of scope for this explanation)

just watched flow (2024)! such a beautifully shot and animated film. (also it's entirely animated in blender! thats so cool!!) the lighting especially was gorgeous, and the artstyle is stunning--grounded, with a hint of the surreal. also, cat.

i've been playing the phoenix wright games recently, and one random detail i think is really cool is (i'm pretty sure that) the crowd noise is played in reverse. it just makes it so much scarier and more intense i love it

and on the music side, i listen to a lot of jrock/jpop, as well as experimental electronic, and occasionally modern jazz fusion
