Congrats! Can't wait to see what's in store!

I'm not even sure there is a correct answer to this, and obviously not all difficult games are made equally. But if games are to be interesting they must make decisions to potentially alienate some players to create something unique. A game made for everyone is a game made for no one.

One interesting thing I've thought about is how much of a game's difficulty is subject for criticism vs how much of it is just a design preference. Certain genres exist to appeal to certain types of players, and I'm curious as to whether "difficult games" should be considered as such.
