On Oct. 28, COA hosted Uruguay’s Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mining Fernanda Cardona, alongside a delegation from the Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies.

The meeting highlighted Uruguay's leadership in renewable energy and its growing role as a regional innovation and technology hub.

🇲🇽 Mexico's President Sheinbaum marked 1 year in office on Oct. 1 with approval levels that would make almost any head of state jealous. But on issues like corruption and crime, Mexicans are less enthusiastic.

On September 25, AS/COA hosted Pedro Sánchez, president of the government of Spain, for his third visit to our New York headquarters for a private event. Sánchez detailed the importance of European-Latin American relations. He also spoke about his efforts on housing, security, and electricity.
