Just because you don’t see it happening doesn’t mean it isn’t.

Just a sample, but I’m pretty proud of the work my 7th grade Social Studies students did for their exploration of Ancient China.

One of my all time favorite baseball players to watch. Not only will his stolen base record never be broken, but I was able to witness two of them in the 80’s when he played for New York.

And, at that game, he took the first pitch of the ball game deep and gone!

Rest In Power, Rickey.

After being out sick all week, I decided to end each class by getting into the holiday spirit a little.

Here are the three songs that made the playlist. A little something for everyone. 😎

…and, yes, classes broke out into song. 😊

“Hey, you guys!”

Grabbed this from Paul Thomas’s wall.

I feel more festive already.

Passing time. Friday. 2:15 pm.

Standing in the hallway.

A student stops at a distance, smiles, and said, “Mr. Schoenborn, I really appreciate you as a teacher.”

I pat my heart to show my appreciation and say, “Thank you, that means more than you know.”

Middle school is a good place to be.
