I am not hearing anyone seriously talk about the fire danger that Oregon is going to suffer this summer unless we get more snow. Central Oregon right now is down to bare ground in places. Last year was already bad, this year will be worse.

When people think about military history it is usually the battles, the generals, and the equipment. When I think military history, it is the people, the community, the culture, and the society that is impacted.
