Internet denizen. I like nerdy shit like games, reading, archiving, and vtubers.

Be excellent to each other.
But lots of flashing lights are a part of the holiday season! Your car's just getting in that jolly, festive spirit.

Gotta keep it together through Christmas...

Can't wait for the defeaning slam of the other shoe dropping to signal beginning of the third? Fourth? Economic rescession of our lifetimes.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, that is very anachronistic, lol. They may have thought the BlueBird logo was just an aesthetic part of that black line along the top, and not a logo.

Putting in the time to get the lead car right for the time period but not the bus is pretty terrible though.

Impossible to know how bad it will be, no one's crystal ball is that good. But its going to hurt, probably a lot, for everyone globally, at a really bad time for it to happen.

A lot of these positions cut for both of them are related to lower demand of goods produced and moved, coupled with AI rapidly displacing knowledge workers. Once you look under the AI bubble, you'll see that the rest of the economy is slowing down and probably heading towards a recession.

My grandfather raised ducks for decades, this is definitely normal duck shenaniganry.

You haven't truly lived until you've been in the PNW and watched people's automated water systems water their already incredibly green lawns on one of our frequent cool, rainy days. Brings a tear to the eye to witness such rigorous dedication to making that useless patch of vegetation thrive.

You saying "USian" thinks we really need to come up with a better descriptor for folks in the US, because that sounds so awkward 😆

Democratic leadership has an been unfunny punchline for decades, and Jeffries' tepid understudying of Schumer and Pelosi continues the trend. These people and their style have long been neutralized by Republicans, and the country has suffered greatly for it. That entire clique needs to go.

Yeah, its a life changer when you manage to find those friends or found-family that love and validate you. You don't have to stick with people that drag you down and immiserate your life. And for me, those friends have all been in the neurodivergent and LGTBQ+ communities. We all lift each other up.

Oh don't worry, I'm fully moved to Linux on every platform I own. Windows just lives in a little VM now in case I need something specific from it😄

The number one complaint from users I've upgraded to Win11 is how slow and sluggish it performs in normal operation, even compared to Win10. I've even had latency copying and pasting text! How is that even happening on brand new devices with a fresh image?! And Copilot shoe-horned into everything🤮

You really did, lol. I was about to go stark raving mad this morning, like grabbing my coworkers, shaking them by the lapels and screaming at them to install Mint or something so we can all know peace in our time😂

Two of my favorites from the last several years. Both "The Wolf Age" and The Pacific War Trilogy (only first book cover shown) are excellently researched and very readable for folks who may not even be diehard history nerds. Each title helped give new perspectives informed by current scholarship.
