Orioles fan here and I agree. I love Freddie, Ohtani, Mookie and, especially now, Yamamoto. I’m also just not going to get mad about them taking advantage of something they’re legally allowed to do by rule just because the rest of the league (including my team) just don’t do it 🤷🏻♂️

I don’t think I want him to come home. Kind of to Richard’s point VT spent 10 years trying to keep things rooted to the Beamer way and that world just doesn’t exist anymore (and hasn’t for like 15 years, to be honest). The old guard needs to be cleared out and I don’t think Shane will do that

We play for the black diamond trophy, for a lot of years it was very much a thing. I’ve heard stories about tech fans who went to Morgantown in the 90s/00s and what they went through. The rivalry stopped for a while because of it

The longest running battle that I had with one of my roommates in my apartment at VT, genuinely my best friend and one of my best men in my wedding, was over the thermostat. He was from NOLA, I was from Maryland. We had VASTLY different opinions on what the temperature should be
