On my mind: I'm a music artist. I enjoy making music. But lately I can't ignore things that are happening in healthcare because my people are direct targets of physical & mental neglect. It's like we are perceived as teflon & can bare any type of pain. America does not recognize that we are human.

It's worth it to literally close your eyes and breathe for a moment to escape. Take a pause, if only for a few minutes, and then start again. It's ok. The work can wait.
