This is a really worrying situation as they’re preying on the vulnerable, encouraging them to part with money and offering them a unicorn. TikTok really needs to do something about this.

This is definitely a co-ordinated program. The sellers all have the same talking point; appear on each others’ Lives; and have Digital Marketing/ Seller in their username. (5)

The other concerning thing they’re claiming is that each course has Master Reselling Rights, which they claim is a legal concept that allows users to resell courses for free. Obviously this is a made up concept. (4)

When asked about the courses, the sellers are vague. They’re claiming that the course include 10 minute videos on everything from branding to social media which make you an expert. (3)

These sellers are going on Live on weekday evenings and are targeting mothers and those in financial difficulty.Some of these sellers are claiming you can make £40k over a month. (2)
