Fair play to the Swiss for their great infrastructure, including bike lanes throughout their part, without which I would likely have perished in the dark on the end bit between Morges and Geneva.
Could've cried when I saw the Turkish mission and knew I was back!

Ach, I know it had to happen, but really sad to see Shane McGowan go. He was always around growing up, as product, soundtrack and support of immigrant Irish life in openly racist England. Glad I saw the chaos in Leeds at 15, but the songs, stories, and words -- the beauty -- were really the thing.

Ach, I know it had to happen, but really sad to see Shane McGowan go. He was always around growing up, as product, soundtrack and support of immigrant Irish life in openly racist England. Glad I saw the chaos in Leeds at 15, but the songs, stories, and words -- the beauty -- were really the thing.
