I messed around all day, though I was productive. I forgot the nail shop closes early on Sunday and everyone will trying to get appointments before Tuesday/Wednesday ☹️

I’m under the extreme belief that the last 2-3 weeks of the year should be leisurely. No work or as needed. It should be a time to relax, relate, release.

Update: federal workers don’t get paid during a government shutdown and that is not ok. Especially off the heels of the holidays. Innocent people who keep shit running not just INCONUS but globally will be caught up in some political BS.

I really do need to plan a trip back home with the sole purpose of handling affairs and to do research on my family tree. That’s heavy on my To Do list in 2025.
