nope. the employees providing the best most efficient services are going to leave due to this disrespect and distrust.

not to mention the effect this will have on retaining the, overworked and underpaid, employees. remote work was literally one of the only perks about being a state employee. the pay is abysmal, so less money on commute/gas and potentially childcare costs as well were the very few perks.

remote work saved taxpayers their dollars. returning everyone to the office means increasing overhead costs to house in office employees. some agencies are having to re-lease office spaces and parking. especially on such short notice
