As a runner who loves this race, as a volunteer who works this race, as a member of the endurance community who loves my people, there aren't words for the rage I feel about ICE planning to invade this iconic event packed with hard working athletes and their families

I've worked the Chicago marathon since 2017 and every year it has been peaceful and rewarding to see those who accomplished something that they have been working on all year, just for the attention to be on these useless fucks. Dizzy spell at mile 11 because it's too damn hot for April aside, my 12 miler went okay and I was so happy to help more baby animals off the trail so they wouldn't get killed by bikes

These snakes were so tiny I'm guessing they just hatched. I'd like to think Emily at Snake Discovery would approve of me gently scooting them out of harm's way.

All my teenagers want for Christmas is cash and video game downloads, but at least I can still wrap toys for the dog

I'm really happy with how my Coraline themed wreath came out!

I'd like to think that @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com would approve
