Also the mindset that doom results in inactivity is untrue, the entire reason we're in this mess is because everyone hoped climate change would be solved, and they still do.

Cut out luxuries of the consumerist life such as flights.
We'd also need to get rid of cars.
There are too many things that we need to get rid of that people won't get rid of.
