This time last year, the record for solar power dispatch on the Texas grid was 14.84GW. That's up almost 50% y/y with 21.4 GW today. The energy transition moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

From the MTA's presentation: ~525k CBD entries per day. If the average marginal toll collected on each crossing is $5, that nets out to just under $1 billion in annual toll collection. Math could be wrong here but it seems like the MTA might get quite a lot of revenue off this with $9 toll vs $15.
