Chuffed to bring home some silverware (via the pub) at Metros Running Club annual Pizza and Prizes evening on Friday

I’ve been with First Direct for over 30 years, so I guess I should understand they are not a new bank, a challenger. But still I expected better than a 3 day wait time to open a simple savings account.

After last year's DNF, I was a DNS for the Cabbage Patch 10 race today. Didn't feel race fit: bit chesty, glutes a bit tight but most significantly my left ankle is quite sore, and didn't want to push it in a race. Shame, it's a great one!

Completed my Groundhog Day challenge at parkrun yesterday.
Had been aiming for 20:54 to complete stopwatch bingo but missed it to the same extent as last week 😀
(A few weeks ago I’d hit 20:55 in successive runs here but had runs away on holiday in between)
