IIRC, two prototypes exists. One concept car with a really fancy interior for the show floor, and a functional prototype with a much more basic interior. The latter which was used in a top speed challenge with a 300KM/H record.

A part of Mitsubishi's 'Highly Sophisticated-transport Research' concept cars, the 1987 Mitsubishi HSR was the first of six iterations. Each iteration had varying acronyms, with this 1987 example being short for 'Hi-Speed Running Research.'

Went for a long, 20KM drive last night on Friday since this car hasn't moved for awhile now. (Was plugged into a battery tender since September.)😅
Basically drove all the way to my former uni & a few other suburbs I used to frequent back in the day as a student.

1. Off. Self-explanatory.
2. Parking lights. As the name suggests, they're designed to make your car visible while parked on the side in low light conditions. Though not really necessary in most countries
3. Low beams. This one, turn them on at night!
