then for the hair i was trying to go with a more frizzled appearance since in cartoons when people get struck by lightning their hair gets all frizzled. So thats how i landed on how he looks.

Well color wise i wanted red lightning when it was going with matching the colors to the element so i went with red. Then added black so it would lean more towards a bolt. As well as hopefully prevent it from being mixed up with fire which i leaned more to being bright. so i went pinkish red there.
