I hope you're right, but I have trouble believing that. Trump's cult followers believe he can do no wrong. There is no crime bad enough to sway a percentage of them. He could devour a live baby on TV and they'd try to justify it.

"Barely legal" has been a vile slogan used to attract nasty men into establishments that denigrate women/girls for as long as I can remember. Megyn being so casually dismissive of its pro-pedophilia implication tracks with the misogyny that has plagued right wing politics for decades.

They would pay significantly more over time and most would never outright own their home. 30 years is already too long considering most first time buyers are now around 38 to 40 years old. 50 years is criminal.

The rest of the world should pay attention to what's happening at home. Fascism/far right[ism] is on the rise throughout the developed world, not just in the US. The Nigel Farage/Pierre Poilievre/Marine Le Pen/etc...of the world haven't been fully defeated.

Yeah, that was one of my complaints with AYITL. Rory's character showed almost no growth nearly a decade later. She fell back into the same stupid habits. I loved watching AYITL for nostalgia, but they did Rory's character dirty.

She surprised me in THT, tbh. Would recommend watching if you go for a Hulu trial. It's a great show with scary parallels to modern day American politics.

I used to think so. After seeing how most men (except black men) vote in the last decade or so, I no longer think so. Intelligence is in short supply on the male side. 🤷🏻♀️

She did, but the blame doesn't lie just with her or even mostly with her. Younger Dean should've stepped back as the married party. Same with older Logan. He was the one engaged.

She definitely doesn't put her best forward in any of those. Handmaid's Tale got her an Emmy and it shows. Brilliant show, BTW.
