WAIT WAIT WAIT my lil analysis that when Angel's black eye is the focus it's symbolic of his Angel Dust persona being center stage, but his white eye is Anthony, his real self is going nuts after I realized his drag outfit completely covers his black eye and he sings to Husk with his white eye only

If we had had enough runtime or episodes we wanted more time spent with Alastor and the other two Vees. The closest was that scene with Velvette, but I'm glad people took away the right thing from it! Haha Alastor would weirdly get along with them. Which would just piss Vox off more lol

Something that really bothers me is when people seem to use Hazbin Hotel critique as a way to demonstrate how much better of a writer they are. Not in a “this is how I would do it” way, but in a “this is how I would do it, so I am the superior writer” like, that’s not the goal of critique man 😭

I need to make it clear that I LOVE the spectacular animation sequences like Vox Dei, but my favorite animation in season 2 has actually been the smaller movements. Luci, when he's talking to Vaggie, Angel, when he's walking into the hotel room. The tiny, expressive moments. I love those so much
