Our final day of The Art of Block Printing workshops was filled with activity. We wrapped up a great 3 weeks!
The Art of the Block Printing project was made possible with a grant by the CF Arts and Culture Fund and the Dick and Marion Meltzer Fund of the Community Foundation for Central New York.

I loved creating at Arlene's Artist Materials, Inc. this week! Thank you for creating with me and exploring mixed media. We made our own collage papers and played with mark making and layering.

Check out the beautiful works created during day 2 of our The Art of Block Printing workshop! The artists jumped into multiple colors and jigsaw block printing with lovely results. So many great questions and explorations💕🎨

The sunflower paintings have been growing.🌻 Have been working outside on these. When I didn't have a big enough easel, I used a folding table on its side(last pic)

Creating one small work a day is an important part of what I do. Today's book pages in progress. Lyra Watersoluable graphite is one of my favorite materials to explore. 9B is the one I find myself grabbing most often.
