A floating bowl of steaming soup floats next to the text: "You can use stock instead of water as a base in most savory recipes, such as soups, sauces and stews!" A plate of risotto sits above the text: "Risottos, ramen, pho, any dish that's cooked or served in liquid is better with homemade stock!" A frying pan with brown sauce sits in the text bubble that reads: "Also, after frying some meat or mushrooms, you can add stock and butter to deglaze the pan and reduce it into an incredible sauce!" Comic Cooking guide! Panel 1: A drawing of you, holding a cutting board full of kitchen scraps. You say "Oh man, lunch was great, but now I've got all these useless scraps.." Panel 2: As you're about to throw them into the trash, pokemon trainer comes over screaming "Wait! Don't throw these out!" Panel 3: Cheddar the munchlax and trainer are now holding the cutting board. Trainer ties on his hairband and says "Let's make stock!!" Page 2 panel one: Trainer is surrounded by floating kitchen scraps as he says: "You can use most kitchen scraps for stock, even inedible parts! Onion and garlic skins, leek and celery greens, carrots and potato peels and of course, bones! I like to freeze scraps over the week and use them for stock all at once. panel 2: an iron pot sits on top of Torkoal's wood-burning shell. Instructions read as such: "First, get a sauce pan nice and hot" Panel 3: The scraps are dropped on hot oil. instructions read "It's optional, but you can add oil and fry the scraps a bit to bring out the flavor and color." Panel 4: Trainer squeezes a wooper as it spits out water into the pan. He says "As soon as you get some color in your pan, go ahead and add water! Make sure to cover all ingredients!

Jojo starts to list off her farming plans, with a thought bubble showing her happily farming alongside plants with faces on them. "Umm.. my plans?" "I thought I'd start by planting tomatoes, and wheat, and potatoes, and then-" she gets interrupted by her neighbor. "Whoa, slow down there, girly! It ain't that simple. There's plenty to do before planting." He looks over at her overgrown fields. "Ya gotta clean this place up first, for one." With unhuman speed, Jojo appears on the field, plucking weeds enthusiastically. "Ok, mister, thanks! I'll start pluckin' right now!!" BAHAHAHAHA! Jojo's neighbor laughs hysterically. "I like ye, lass! You've got spunk!" he takes his hat and wobbles over to her, as she stuffs weeds in her pants pocket. "It's nice ta hear ya wanna do some proper farmin'. The last owners of this here ranch just used it as a summer home." The neighbor gets into his truck as she waves goodbye. He says "I'll have my grandson bring ya something to help with the weeds, so just focus on cleaning up yer house for now!" Jojo says "Thank you, grandpa!" She sighs, with a smile on her face. "I think I'll like it here."

Our main character Jojo is waving from her window on the attic, down to her werewolf neighbor. "OMG, HEY MISTER WEREWOLF!! YOU SCARED ME, I THOUGHT IT WAS A MAN!! Hahaha I'll be right down" She loses her balance, swinging her arms wildly and yelling "Whoa, whoa!" She tumbles down to the ground from her roof comically, hitting a few poses as she falls. A wide shot of the farm, riddled with weeds in a calm spring afternoon Jojo sits down with her neighbor for a coffee. She is comically battered, her eyes swollen, with bandages and a cast on her arm. She says "Thank you for the coffee, mister. Sorry you had to see that." No no, It's fine! He answers. I'm just glad yer ok... I came to make sure no one suspicious moved in next door. And if ye don't mind, I'd like ta hear yer farming plans." "Oh" she answers, putting down her coffee.

Joana comes up the stairs to the attic room on the second floor. She looks around curiously. The room features a double bed, a corner table in front of a window, as a little study nook, as well as a big wardrobe. On the wall opposite the stairs there is a huge round window with stained glass. She walks toward it and starts to swing it open. She says: "This place.." Joana opens the door to her farmhouse slowly. It's dark and damp inside. To one side, the old kitchen with a wood-burning stove, shelves and a cooking counter. To the other side, the hardwood floor living room with a dinner table, couch and rug, with a little coffee table. Two long rounded windows shed a bit of light through.
