Yes, you can create some configuration on the backend side and fetch it to the app when you want. It can be fetched when the app starts or if you want more reactive approach with web socket. Then you can create some kind of service that provides you bool value for each flag like "isChatEnabled"

Add feature flags support from external config. It's common approach to disable/enable something on production.

I think this platform will grow eventually. Plenty of people are tired of this continuous political polarization on X.
