This is actually extremely clever

A few ways to break the game if you're feeling stuck:
Attack yourself (but try to be alive when the battle ends) to get better buffs
Get a berserk spell (from the magician enemy) and level it up to 3-5
Stick to weapon+shield, you'll get evasion buffs that will avoid even endgame attacks

Did not think Koffing had the brain structure to get upset/angry.
