I have the Everyman's Library edition. And yes! There is, indeed, a whole bunch of notes!
I'm off to get some hot chocolate, read lots of notes, and then give Paradise Lost another go.

I've had a copy of Paradise Lost on my shelf for a while. I've tried to start it a few times, but it seems like a daunting proposition. Perhaps I just need to have a cup of hot chocolate handy.

When everything is too much, stop and do the next right thing. Do it while thinking of nothing else. Then decide the next right thing after that. One thing at a time. No multi-tasking.
If your feelings and emotions bubble over, pause… breathe… and continue on.
