This isn’t an unpopular opinion, its just completely wrong. ChatGPT gives out false information, and is actively making people stupid. Not to mention the fact that AI therapy bots have been shown to give out dangerous information, including suggesting people struggling with addiction take drugs.

As much as I would never disparage anyone else’s hobby, and I certainly don’t think I’m all that, I do sometimes enjoy seeing some influencer type sharing their photography and getting reminded that expensive film doesn’t make up for lack of skill

Forever frustrated by the number of people getting mad at old black and white news photos saying ‘but that was so recent’ and deciding it’s to make us think it was longer ago. B&w film can be developed at home in under an hour, you could have prints ready for the next day’s papers.

My mum asked why I was upset and I explained only for my sister to come storming down the stairs to lecture me about why it was fine, actually, to say what she said because she wasn’t including me. No apology in sight.
Have just spent ages listening to my parents and sister talk about how isn’t it hilarious that her friend who went to college and got a masters after is now struggling on a low income while my sister who nearly failed her leaving cert is in middle management on €55k a year doing fa

Fell in love with a little mosaic end table that was very reasonably priced but I unfortunately had €10 to my name and consoled myself that I’d find something similar when I have money again, but anything similar I can find online is about €450 minimum, so I’ll never be able to justify it :(

I know pretty much everyone in Andor who wasn’t in Rogue One is more than likely going to die but I’m still a little mad that they gave us lesbians and then immediately killed one of them 😭

I literally refuse to even see the NGS because of the horror stories I’ve heard from friends. I actually don’t think I can face being humiliated and scrutinised to such an extreme level, and will continue to go private as long as I can afford it and try to stay on the waiting list for Brackenburn

Pride bans work btw, Sinn Fein are *not* happy at being banned. They were the first main party to suport Pride decades ago and are not a transphobic party, but this ban has got through more than anything else we could have done.

I think it’s telling that AI music kind of died off very early because even tech bros could tell that it wasn’t nice to listen to. They don’t read or appreciate physical artwork in any way though so don’t get that AI ‘art’ and writing is exactly the same

Strongly considering setting up a photography instagram account and staggering how often I post my photos. I’m also thinking once I’m working again I might look into getting a digital camera just as a back up, since film is so expensive these days
