I have a hard time squaring that with the vehemence and unforgiving treatment being given to someone who showed signs of not being entirely in control of their mind or impulses. It seems… fundamentally unkind.

It’s been 10+ years for me but there used to be good community there. Not stigmatizing people for their darkest thoughts, emotional support through pain and hardship, which is what the “MCR saved my life” talk was about. There was a message about living through pain and surviving to the other side.

I didn’t realize until near the end that the Jack o Lantern is singing along to the song! I love it, these are always so fun
