With staying among his friends and his love, there come days when #Shae struggles with his past in Menzoberranzan, now that he knows, what they have done to him. #Astarion of course is there for him, trying together to find a way of coping.

Astarion stands behind Shae, has his arms gently wrapped around the drow, one hand placed over Shae's heart, the other onto his belly. The vampire knows, it's 'one of those nights' where the dark elf struggles on disassociating with memories from his past in Menzoberranzan. Tears are trickling down the stone-coloured face and all they can do now, is being close each other, skin on skin, silent, just breathing, feeling the embrace.

Summary: Would there be more drow, maybe someone as small as him, another ‘little shit’ as high priestess Maralyll used to address him? Would Shae’Zar once look similar to Estramon, when he ‘got older’, ‘grew up’, as Raghallee had named that process? Would his hair be that long? Would he even wear such weapons once? There were so many questions floating around in his head now and kept up with each other, with every new corridor, every step he walked down behind her, with every new sound and every new face he saw. Could he explore all of this now and go everywhere then with another just as small … as young as him? One who most likely would understand him better, who must have the same thoughts?

Claudia showing up with a witches hat and a pumpkin basket to on onto some truck and treat, greeting Aaravos and her taken-on little sister Claudia's eyes have grown wide, when she discovers, Aaravos and Leola have put their costumes on in the wrong way: the holes in them are not where they are supposed to be. Aaravos stands there, Leola up his arm to his left side. Both are covered in ghostly blankets but Aaravos had used the holes from the eyes for their horns to peek through. Leola has the advantage of only having one horn, therefore she can use the second hole for an eye to look out. Aaravos asks Claudia then, where their horns have to go, when the holes are not fit their horns. Leola whispers, she has told him, those holes were not for horns and suggests, he should use his magic now and become creative Aaravos snaps his fingers and creates more holes: now he can have both horns and both eyes peeking through the blanket and Leola's fit is now corrected to one horn and two eyes. She also now has a pumpkin basket and calls or for trick or treat

Summary: He just stood there, head lowered again, holding the book in his little hands, now that she gave it back to him but otherwise ignored the little boy while talking to Raghallee and Maralyll. He did not understand, he just had delivered himself into her hands by simply not being fragile and helpless anymore. He soon would be of use within her house – speaking and at best truly reading soon would help him find his place among the lowest in house Nag’Thûr. The time of restraint passed involuntarily with every year that little maggot grew up.

As a Magtherian, #Shae faced his first abuse at his Graduation, not knowing this also is a very vile tradition in #Menzoberranzan. Heavily drugged under ritual chants and incense his matron had of course a hand in the deals made with four graduating priestesses. Traditions are holy.

Lord Viren wants to leave the elves down in the dungeon to rot. Runaan agrees and ugly wishes to be left alone because as a Moon shadow assassin, he believes he's already dead anyway. Aaravos though has again slipped out of one of his shackles and calms the assassin down, emphasising how much he appreciates, that lord Viren wants to learn something about elves

Summary: “Which way to leave … the house?” she gnarled at Raghallee who was barely conscious by now, the chains even had made her knuckles white, that hard she tried to hold against them but she was a female drow, she was not one to give up by choking her. She managed to lift an elbow, though she gagged heavily, had she almost let go of the metal noose around her neck. The direction given, was over the square, along the line of statues, and Shaerazade understood, this most likely was an alleyway, an entry square to the compound, that held the house. She was not sure, but she thought she could even make out something, that might be an iron fence, web-like structures. Most likely, the house itself would be to the other side, overlooking that square – she would need to have an eye on it, when stepping outside. She stepped outside. She turned her head and eyed her surroundings. And she froze.

First panel: Lord Viren gasps about Aaravos' proclamation, Startouch elves having the largest ones. In the second panel Runaan clears up the situation by telling Lord Viren, Aaravos meant his horns. In the third panel Aaravos corrects Runaan, telling, he meant his titan but appreciates the praise of his horns. Lord Viren then plays over his little misguided thoughts, explaining he of course knew, this was about titans and that he already has seen such. In the last panel Aaravos now is intrigued, but it questioning, lord Viren knows about titans.

Panel up shows Runaan, blaming Aaravos for having lied about his person because no human could be so stupid and trust the Starelf. Next panel: Aaravos corrects Runaan, because he never lies and furthermore is intrigued about lord Viren's thirst for knowledge. Next panel: lord Viren stops the discussion and directly demands Aaravos proving his honesty by telling him a fact, the high mage of Katolis does not know yet about Startouch Elves. Last panel: Aaravos agrees that he will do, as the lord wishes.

#Aaravos enjoys his stay at Katolis dungeon clearly a bit too much, but interrogations are so much fun to be part of.

Three panels: left top shows Runaan being laid in magical chains, calling Lord Viren a fool to trust in his other prisoner. Next Panel shows Lord Viren with folded hands, finding it very interesting, that Runaan now wants to talk about things and that just by seeing his fellow inmate. Last Panel: Runaan sits chained up beside Aaravos, taunting Lord Viren by stating, the human has no idea, who this other inmate truly is. Aaravos though tells Runaan, Lord Viren does know, who he is, for it was him, who has already told the human.
