I had the great pleasure of visiting an international School in Tokyo last month with Holly, the author of Listening to Trees, to give a presentation. It was definitely overwhelming at first, but, as time went by, I actually really enjoyed being in a presence of their energy and curiosity!

When I was in elementary school, my friends and I would find fallen leaves on our way home and put them in a ditch with running water, and we’d have fun having them race like this(obviously not with snails on them lol)
