I can say without a doubt that it's my favorite piece of 2025 so far!
I really tried to not search for the perfect drawing with the perfect feathers pattern, focusing on enjoying the process and I loved every minute spent on it 🥰

This picture shows my desk, where I have two bottle of fixative with warning on it to remind me to not use them on ballpoint pen artworks. Behind the bottle there are 3 drawings of birds of prey: a saker falcon and a bearded vulture in a A5 watercolors sketchbook laying flat on top of an acrylic case (in which there is a modelcar, a lamborghini centenario at 1:12 scale). The third one is a white-tailed eagle portrait on a A4 watercolor paper sheet.

I totally forgot that fixative and ballpoint pen were not friends… 🥹 It’s all blue and too dark now.
Will remember next time: scan it before you spray it (and don’t spray at all when ballpoint pen is involved)!
