"Hatcher" is coming along nicely. It's taking forever to place the muscles, but I'd much rather do this approach now than carve away at a bigger block. Bonus appearance by my puppy boy, Ankylosaurus (who needs finishing too). 1/20 scale print, anyone? We'll see.

Reposing/articulating the Smithsonian Triceratops mount (available for download on their Sketchfab page: sketchfab.com/.../tricerat.... ) certainly was not on my bingo card for today. But here we are. A solid new baseline for me to work off of. For... reasons.

Leaving Pridesopods around #Eurofurence today, go and get some if you like!

Hiding stickers at #Eurofurence, if you catch me and want one, just say hi! I‘ll have some more with me later tonight :)

Stickers ready for EuroFurence 2025
September 3, 2025 at 7:44 AM
I may or may not be getting ready for Eurofurence 2025 right now. Do I have any furry art of significance to show? No. Am I technically a paleoartist? Yes. Am I still preparing something for the con? Absolutely.

Oh whoops, I completely blanked on sharing the new isopod illustrations on here??? Anyway, here are Cubaris sp. Rubber Ducky, C. sp. Amber Ducky and C. sp. Cherry Blossom. The Rubber Duckies have already been turned into stickers, still need to set up the other two. #sciart #invertefest

Ah, retopology. How I have missed you (this is both genuine and sarcastic - Schrödinger's retopology). Necessary evil, partially excrutiating and partially cathartic.
Suchomimus tenerensis in progress. I will try to bake textures in Substance Painter this time, that'll be a learning curve.

Posting regularly is a struggle and my ADHD brain works on really bad object permanence. That being said, here is Suchomimus tenerensis, with which I got lost in scales today after trying to figure a few things out. Heavy reptilian influence and I like it!

Finally back to Bisopod production! Other Pridesopods following soon!

Mission Cricut was a success! I‘ll do some more prints today to see if I get consistent results, but I‘m calling this a good start!

I present to you: Grumpert. A little painting practice that turned into a sticker design! New printer was tested last night and the accompanying desk plotter is being set up today!

Seeing as how I'm stuck time-wise at the moment (with renovations, moving and other issues), I keep forgetting to upload already done renders. Here's Iguanodon bernissartensis for your enjoyment.
May 20, 2025 at 1:07 PM
EDIT: Reupload because Bluesky wrecked the resolution

I have been spending some time lately (amidst moving, renovating and other chaos) to set up a way for me to showcase my 3D models nicely for a portfolio situation. Starting here with Parasaurolophus walkeri! More to come in the near future!

Wasn't planning on this, but here we are. For those of you who followed me on other social media platforms, Cricket might be an OC of mine you recognise. Initially I only wanted to sculpt a bust of her as a little exercise, as usual I am escalating and now have to commit to this. V. mongoliensis

Death heron coming along. Thanks to some comments from Lewis Larosa I decided to make the muscle outlines more prominent landmarks and will now lay out basic fold topology for the skin before bulking those up. Also incorporated a bit of the new work by Sharpe et al. 2025 into the mix.

May I present: the new base of operations. @rm-puddlefarmer.bsky.social for scale.
March 29, 2025 at 7:40 AM
The muscle buildup stage is done and the mesh is unified. Adding layers of subcutaneous fat and fascia/other tissue on top to bulk it up some more. I think next step will be retopology so I have that out of the way before getting into too much detail.

PS.: Those meat hooks are no joke, wth

In case anyone was wondering what the guy behind this yellow lizard face looks like. Fancy elevator always calls for a selfie.

Just a bit of a turnaround to pretend I'm @villesinkkonen.bsky.social. This one is shaping up nicely, even if it's taking me quite a while and it just started due to @sketchy-raptor.bsky.social drawing Suchomimus and talking about its ridiculous size.

We have feet, we have claws and I replaced the skull and mandible with slightly stylised versions that are symmetrical.
