Just heard of the passing of Under the Umbrella Tree creator Noreen Young. We did a DefunctTV on the show and her puppetry a few years ago, and afterwards, she sent me a long and kind message about how well we did and how much she enjoyed reading the comments of people remembering her show.

There's no trait I genuinely want to lose more than my inability to assuringly respond to sadness in a prompt manner. I feel this need to do more than just say "that's rough, dawg" and I get caught in my feelings of seeming useless.
