Well... I've been painting on and off for two days. Large walls are I think a bit much for a novice painter to take on for a canvas. I'm exhausted and learning something new on this scale was more than challenging. I am calling these 2 walls done.

This is where I'll finish for today. I'll hopefully be able to finish up these 2 walls tomorrow after getting the minion off to school.

Alright, I did the borders so it would at least have finished edges and then I loaded the roller with a gradiënt of light blue to the dark blue and applied it horizontally then used the foam brush to smooth it out. I think I need to add a bit of orange and pink to tie it to the sky.

Okay, so maybe I should have made sure I had all the necessary tools to make this happen before diving in but... Well, that wouldn't be me😂. I raided my daughter's art supplies and found these foam ones I think might work. The roller and the sponges are what I was able to salvage from before.

This project started over a year ago when my daughter said she wanted a sunset theme in her room. Nevermind that I had never really painted, I went all in and decided to created a full 4 wall mural😂. Maybe finishing this will get me through my art block😅. All encouragement welcome. Will update. 🎨

Old artwork helped to keep me from giving up, along with the gentle encouragement of some truly kind people🙌🫂.
