I lived in London for 25 years and in many ways miss the city life, restaurants, art galleries, theatre, opera but I wouldn’t swap now. Only if I suddenly became wealthy and could afford a pied a Terre in Wien. 😀

I have a decent compromise. On the outskirts of a small rural town. I can walk to the centre in twenty minutes.
