Can you work out what the hidden work of art is in six guesses or fewer? A new one every day.
I hope your day has involved more time for the subject of today's artle.uk than mine has (and if it's involved climbing a tree, even better!).

Apologies for the error/delay, normal artle.uk service now resumed!

Hastily plucking this one from the archives, in recognition of the decidedly soggy weather afflicting much of the UK - if that's not where you are, I hope you're enjoying something drier and warmer!

I don't think many people will struggle to get the mystery artist* behind today's artle.uk!

I was a bit thrown by the hat (bonnet?), initially. See if you can do better than me identifying the mystery work of art on today's artle.uk.

It's another one of those! Several paintings with the same name as today's artle.uk appear on the list of options, and yes, it's probably the name you're thinking of.

Densely packed, chaotic, very earthly but with a splash of religion and even divinity, that's today's artle.uk.

See if you can identify the mystery art in six attempts or fewer!

Well, I could not remember who painted this dazzling, luminous scene! See if you can do better than me - somewhere on the big list of works of art on artle.uk is this one, track it down in six attempts or fewer.

I really should have found today's artle.uk easier to identify than I did, given that a) I selected it very recently, and b) it's very distinctive 😳

A pale view of the hills - mostly unhelpful clue, it sprang to mind though (& I like the book), forget I said it.

An artist returns to artle.uk after a break, lots of their work to choose from though, as you try to identify today's mystery work of art.

Probably not too hard to guess the kind of art up for identification on artle.uk today, and if you can tell what's depicted I reckon you'll be able to find the title...

Apologies for the delay, reeling from the twists and turns in the Traitors denouement!

Today's artle.uk should blow away any residual cobwebs though - guess the racy mystery work in six or fewer tries!

Ok, I'm sure everyone *knows* who painted today's artle.uk, at least?!

But what's the work, there's a few to pick from in the big list of possible answers?

See what you can do, surely six guesses is more than enough.

A solemn promise in the process of being made, that's what's on offer in today's artle.uk.

Identify the mystery work of art and its creator, if you can!

The other(?) chap with this surname - not the one whose house you can visit in Holland Park, London.

A useless clue, in all likelihood, but see if you can identify today's artle.uk in six guesses or fewer nonetheless!

The artist appearing on artle.uk does have one very, very famous painting, but this is not that painting. If a further clue is needed, they have a big show coming to the Tate in the future...

Guess work and artist in no more than 6 attempts!

💀 No pumpkins, witches or ghosts, but a chilling scene awaits Halloween visitors to artle.uk nonetheless. 👻

🕷️ See if you can guess what it is, and who painted it, in six spooky guesses (or fewer)!🎃

Today's artle.uk was apparently (Wikipedia tells me) the inspiration for a very significant movie location (so significant it's almost a character in the film)!

I definitely wouldn't have got this artle.uk had I not recently selected this work for inclusion! This artist's featured quite a few times previously...

A dark and gruesome image for you to identify on artle.uk today, it's not pretty!

Pretty colourful scene, given the subject matter!

Identify the work of art (and artist) if you can - six guesses, a bit more to see with each.

The painter of today's portrait makes only their second artle.uk appearance today, so if you can identify them it will be slightly easier to whittle down the choices than it was for yesterday's artist...

Oh, I think the artist behind this artle.uk might be quite easy to identify? They've got a few works in the list to choose from though, so that's just half the battle...

A pensive-looking subject today, perhaps reflecting a forthcoming historic visit in the weeks ahead?

Guess the art (and artist), six guesses or fewer, more revealed with each attempt!
