No, I am not trans. For 24 yrs my ex was active Navy. We spent 10 of those years overseas. Until we returned from our last tour in 2005, Christine Jorgensen was the only person I was aware of that was a transgender woman. My battles had to do with other arenas of life.

Most of the people who were the worst were MAGAs. I've had no relationship whatsoever with my sister since 2022 as she is an evangelical fundamentalist who just loves to pass judgment on anyone she pleases. The last time we spoke, she told me I am going to hell because my beliefs are not hers.

She is an adult and as such is responsible for her own life.
I will take the time to give considered thoughts to others, but I refuse to name call or in any other way bully them. I don't do it face to face and won't do it online.

I will try to reason with someone, but sometimes that just isn't an option. It's one of the reasons I am no longer on Twitter. My oldest is a trans woman (she came out in 2016). I have supported her 100% and don't appreciate people who assume I must have forced it on her. She was 31 years old.

People who lie, bully and cheat are not worth wasting my time on. I prefer conversations prefaced on mutual respect.
