This isn’t an invitation for avatar hate. The movie is still good but I just don’t think it’s as good as the first two as terms of dialogue and stakes. Maybe bc it’s bc I expected so much though.

My biggest issues with it was that there was not as many consequences as there were in the first two movies. Like the stakes go so high and barely anything happens.

even feel each other’s pain anymore. This is inhuman. It’s unnatural. The problem isn’t loneliness, it’s a lack of humanity.

I’m not saying that people should go and have a million friends. Heck, some people are alone but don’t feel lonely. So instead of saying “the loneliness epidemic” I would better describe it as “the disconnection pandemic.” The problem isn’t being alone, it’s being so disconnected that we don’t

Ask anyone about any of these things and they will look at you like you spoke gibberish. Dabble at ANY of these topics and people will role their eyes, look at their phones, and say, “It’s not that deep” and you’re immediately labeled as “the woke friend.”

One thing I will give these current social structures is that they have disconnected us so much that most “normal” people don’t care about other peoples issues unless it happens to them. Like think about Palestine, Sudan, the 2025 election, CONGO, the ENVIRONMENT.
