There is something about learning blender and obsessing over 2000s era games that makes me want to hyperfixate on Tak and the power of Juju. I remember referencing it when I first tried 3d art (using anim8r). His design actually influenced a fair bit of my earlier art!

Most of this was ‘The Red Shoes’, an album I tend not to listen to that often (for the record ‘The Dreaming‘ is and shall always be one of the best albums ever made.)

I'm very inspired by 80s anime, so for sure there's a resemblance (see Shining Force 2 concept art below). He's got blue skin, red hair and a robe, so I think with the full body, he won't invite the same degree of comparison (I've added an earlier version below with green hair for an idea)

Some early morning practice before I start my day. I want to get an entire character sheet done for about 12 characters (for a comic). 4 Headshots is a good start. For those wondering:

Just a doodle before work. I really need to spend some time writing and working on composition, but recently it takes me a while to get used to tablet drawing so I did something easy. I like how it came out.
