Yes, and, it has to be sold to MAGA / conservative / right leaning voters. These positions aren't that radical, but the party has done poorly working towards those goals. They routinely break promises because corporate shills quash any meaningful legislation.

That requires growing a spine.

We all know how the gilded age ended. It wasn't pretty. You'd think it would be best for the wealthy(and everyone) to make some concessions before we get hit with another great depression.

Exactly! Actions speak louder than cheap, cheap, words.

It's a trap!

Yes, they need to grow a proverbial pair and stand up. While it's not true that Congress can stop this, Jefferies IS the figurehead of the party, and needs to lean on state lawmakers to fight back, make noise, and sling mud. Don't bring a squirt gun to a five alarm fire.

It's not up to us to make the case for a party, it's up to the party to make the case on why they deserve the job.

Continued...

4. Publicly apologize for being corrupt.

5. Bring back David Hogg. Stop silencing people that don't agree with you or make the "ruling class" uncomfortable.

6. Fuck the status quo. It's not working for everyone.

7. Use technology to your advantage.

8. Support a sympathetic social media ecosystem. Legacy media is dead, and for good reason. Good riddance to it. Start a version of Fox news. Apparently SNARF and sensationalism works well on irrational minds. There's lots of them that vote, you need as many as you can get.
July 31, 2025 at 1:17 PM
9. Learn from the mistakes of the past, and learn from history. Voters are selfish (Americans as a whole but not individually are too, which is paradoxical), voters tend to be deathly afraid of economic destitution or uncertainty. What can you do to make them and their children better off?
July 31, 2025 at 1:17 PM
10. Don't resort to "othering" or scapegoating, but definitely drag the opposition into the mud. Taking the moral high road doesn't work anymore. We want someone that punches back, not spinless wimps.
July 31, 2025 at 1:17 PM
11. Stop the purity tests. In this moment in time, there MUST be a unified front on defending freedom and speaking truth to power, on restoring and raising standards of living, on checking the corporate stranglehold on government, and restoring the people's faith and trust in their government.
July 31, 2025 at 1:17 PM
12. Reach the voters where they are at. Some of us "economically disadvantaged" tend to use colorful language, embrace it. DJT mastered that lesson, I suggest you do too. Reach out to rural communities and work on restoring their trust. They hold a disproportionate amount of power
July 31, 2025 at 1:16 PM
13. Assault the media ecosystem, everywhere, strategically targeted, with constant (but not off-putting) reminders of the failures of the current regime and offer appealing and workable alternatives. Praise what they ARE doing correctly (but not sarcastically) and offer to extend those policies.
July 31, 2025 at 1:16 PM
14. Recall that the average voter has amnesia. The last 8 years of political events get dumped faster than free() wipes allocated memory from a C program. Air constant reminders what the opposition is failing at, and what you are doing past and present to make their lives better.
July 31, 2025 at 1:16 PM
15. Populism works. Lean into the current mood of economic populism. Acknowledge that if the ultra wealthy don't pull their weight and make concessions, the pitchforks and torches are coming. The argument could be made that we are at the point already, most likely it's how MAGA came to be.
