It's the dead of winter, so I'm back to working on workshop upgrade again. I'm adding a water heater and new base cabs!
The cabs are made from a face frame mistake from another project and some scraps. The counter top is A/B plywood that I'm going to laminate with a scrap from another project.

Oh my there's now 5 baby rabbit snails, and this ones taking a ride on Pete's back 🥹

Talk about a nano tank! I just put together this little dude. It's got an air stone and is stocked with a couple (for now) pond snails, and a couple of side swimmers.

This snail showed up for free on an aquatic plant. I saved them from the trash can when I was cleaning. Now they have their own little tank with a plant, food, and some scud friends.

Okay so, I found a different baby snail this morning. It's definitely a rabbit snail, and now I'm questioning the one from yesterday. That one is a little bit round to be one. Also it's foot is kinda long out the back.

I found this baby rabbit snail by sucking it up and getting it stuck in the bulb while I was vacuuming up poo. I blew the bulb out with the air compressor thinking it had gravel in it 😨
Thankfully it was okay 🥹
From the size I'd guess a week or two old, but what do I know.

I was going to reply and tell you that rabbit snails are sexed and you gotta have a male and a female, and that I thought that I had three of a kind.
Then I was cleaning the tank and found this baby!

I put some dirt and water in a jar, then I put a plant in it.
Actually I was trying to get some microbiol life going in there. Then I got this plant on clearance and figured I'd quarantine it before planting it in the rabbit snail tank.

I have some new friends at the Postmodern Workshop! I was planning on getting some shrimps (they were out, still getting 🦐) but ended up getting three Golden Rabbit snails! This one was having their first meal in it's new home 🤗
