948 words this morning. Writing scenes with too much dialogue can be trickery; gotta keep it from turning into a screenplay.

Back to writing. 2300 words in two days, but I’ve sold my Freewrite and am just working on my aged MacBook. Glad to be back at the keyboard, and feeling better for the creative output.
Writers out there, sometimes you need a break. Don’t let it go too long though!

Well it was nearly a week since I did my daily writing. Prep for a convention stole most of my free time. Good news is, back in the saddle as of this morning - would have kept writing for another hour if I hadn’t needed to run out the door to work!

Another 1,080 words this morning. That’s 6000+ words written over a week, with the weekend off.

About 600 words today. Took weekend off, and really had to struggle to get my train of thought back.

On a roll this morning. 1,100 words out, and drifting towards one of the most important scenes of the entire story.

600 words this morning, but man did I not want to write. Still, pulled out the Freewrite and got more work done on the chapter.
And now that I’m done for today, I want to write more. Sometimes you just have to start!

Another 1000 words today. Free writing, so expecting some editing after the fact but finding the process helpful so far!

480 words today. And writing after NyQuil is like trying to swim upstream, that’s all I’ll say about that.

Word count today is 1,700 or so. Took about an hour, with no real pauses and that’s chapter one licked.
Decided that for better or worse I’m writing from the start, as jumping around didn’t seem to keep my focus.

Wrote 1800+ words this morning. I try to write every day, with a goal of around 1000 daily. Posting here not to brag, but more to journal and keep myself motivated.
