⚠️GNARLY ALERT⚠️ While testing my new 180-600m lens recently, I saw this red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) soaring high above. But because it was so far away (see last photo for full uncropped shot) I didn’t notice the most striking detail til later: that it had just caught a squirrel for lunch 😳
