Search for "equation of time". TL;DR: because the Earth's orbit is an ellipse and its axis is tilted relative to the orbit and isn't aligned with the axes of the orbit things don't behave as simply as one might expect.

Hallucinations can't be fixed because they're not broken - they're an intrinsic part of how GenAI works. To grossly oversimplify, if the training data included British Prime Ministers and pantomime, then some output will include the "fact" that Benjamin Disraeli played Widow Twanky in Aladdin.
