Great to find someone else who's interested! When I was researching the thesis (I finished in 2018) hardly anything had been written about them. Were you able to find out about the people who owned the brooches in your collection and those who gave them?

Yes, specifically versions of military badges and what they signified in wartime. It was the subject of my phd thesis.

Tbf they started with the damage 14 years of tories had done. Despite some missteps I feel inclined to give them a bit longer to sort things out. 🤞

Also why do they assume everyone they are trying to reach is on X when so many are leaving? I wouldn't go back just to see messages.

That's not going to help you recover. Does anyone take any notice if you complain about the food? The photos you've posted so far look appalling, unappetising and nutritionally lacking. No one would pay for that'meal'.
