In 1968, the Studio Museum opened in Harlem with a solo show of works by Lloyd, a kinetic light sculptor and a vocal advocate for Black artists. Tomorrow, after a seven-year expansion project, the museum reopens with Lloyd’s long-overdue retrospective. www.artforum.com/features/int...
