Thank you for your work!! My oldest absolutely blossomed once she started school and it was 100% because of the hard work and dedication of her teacher and aides. The work you do means so much to both the parents and students. I hope you have a fantastic school year when it starts 🫶🏻

I have more ideas but these are just some of the ones we have out that we use a lot of the time. Let me know if you need more suggestions, I have a ton of things put away (we do a toy rotation) and other ideas I’ve jotted down from our different therapists 🫶🏻 good luck this year!!

This is also awesome for visual stimulation - it’s a handheld LightBrite toy and there are different modes but you touch the buttons to make different colors

Noise cancelling headphones are also great to have in reach like in a basket, we have a pair upstairs for my oldest for when the other two cry and she puts them on herself which is great. They make tons of cool colors and patterns too - she has unicorns!

This is a homemade stuffy, it has a little fluff in the middle but it also has cellophane so it crinkles when you crunch it! A little noise, obviously, but also safe in case someone decides to throw it 😂

I don’t know the name but whatever these are called - pinboards maybe? They do make a little noise but they’re very cool for kids who are looking for tactile stimulation.

Water timers - these are great to help calm kids down, we use these a lot! The ones we have are also quite durable, we haven’t had any break yet.
