I love books. I love a good debate but I despise the liars and clowns that were just handed the keys to the kingdom by a bunch of vulnerable ‘Mericans. I prefer lakes to oceans and water to mountains and I do love blue skies. DM me and I block you.
Yeah. I’m not at all sorry. Dude if you cared about other people the way you claim to, you would not have voted for tRump. So sorry, not sorry.

It will allow Dems the platform they need to voice their concerns and call out Trump’s constant attempts to secure unchecked power.

It will alert more of the public and take away his element of surprise.

Rather than continue reacting to Trump’s chaos, it’s time to get ahead of it.

There has not been a need to…until now.

Yes, Republicans will shoot it down for various reasons, claiming it is an unwarranted check on executive power etc

However, it will put a much needed spotlight on this issue.

One way might be for the constitutionally savvy Dems like Raskin to propose a law requiring Congressional consent for the declaration of federal martial law.

The Constitution does not explicitly grant POTUS unilateral authority to declare martial law, but it has not been challenged in the past.

Whether the trigger event is protests, judicial resistance, something he makes up or embellishes, the prospect of crippling all opposition is too enticing for him to pass up.

Democrats need to escalate not just their opposition to what he’s doing, but also sound the alarms on what he’s planning.

No, because she would call you and you would take care of it for her. (Or your admin would). Privilege. It’s real.
